Key City Public Theater Youth Camp (Quilcene)

August 11-15, M-F / 9am - Noon

Summertime is coming and Key City Public Theatre is here for your performing artists to shine!

Every summer, we offer week-long camps for ages 8-15. These day camps provide an immersive experience for students of all levels to deepen and expand skills taught throughout the year.  They are also an excellent introduction to the fun and creativity of theatre arts education. Each camp results in a showcase for friends and family to highlight their experience during the immersive week.

These popular camps that engage youth in fun, creative ways outdoors at Worthington Park (Quilcene) generally sell out, so early registration is recommended.

Fairy & Human Relations Congress (Quilcene)

The Fairy & Human Relations Congress is an annual event near Pt. Townsend, Washington, attracting about 200 people. This year marks its 25th anniversary. It’s a pioneering educational event that also celebrates the fairy spirit with music, dancing, singing, costume parades, meditations, and ceremonies focused on communing and healing with the fairy realm. Past notable attendees include Peter Tompkins, Dorothy MacLean, David Spangler, RJ Stewart, Orion Foxwood, Caitlín Matthews, John Michael Greer, Paul Stamets, and Brooke Medicine Eagle. The gathering features flower essence specialists, animal and plant communicators, shamans, herbalists, fairy seers, intuitives, geomancers, Bards, Druids, and Native American storytellers. It unites people exploring Perelandra, Findhorn, Faery Underworld, Celtic Faery Tradition, Shamanism, Flower Essences, Herbalism, Biodynamic Gardening, Plant Spirit Medicine, Geomancy, Earth Healing, Animal and Plant Communication, Faery Doctoring, Spiritual Permaculture, Deep Ecology, and Witchery. The 2025 theme is "Celebrating 25 years of Epic Hopefulness and World Transformation."

The Fairy Congress has proven to be a vanguard event for bridging the dimensions. We are mainly an educational event, however in the fairy spirit we also have lots of fun with music, dancing, singing and a colorful costume parade. We also have meditations and ceremonies throughout the weekend that focus specifically on communing and healing with the fairy realm.

In past years we've been joined by Peter Tompkins ("Secret Life of Plants"), Dorothy MacLean and David Spangler (from Findhorn), Celtic Faery teachers such as RJ Stewart, Orion Foxwood, and Caitlín Matthews, and renowned authors John Michael Greer, Paul Stamets, and Brooke Medicine Eagle.

We are joined by flower essence specialists, animal and plant communicators, shamanic practitioners and herbalists, fairy seers, intuitives, geomancers, Bards and Druids, and Native American storytellers.
This is a unique annual gathering that brings together people on the pathways of Perelandra, Findhorn, Faery Underworld, Celtic Faery Tradition, Shamanism, Flower Essences, Herbalism, Biodynamic Gardening, Plant Spirit Medicine, Geomancy, Earth Healing, Animal and Plant Communication, Faery Doctoring, Spiritual Permaculture, Deep Ecology and Witchery.

Join Us for the 3rd Annual Cook-Off!

We had so much fun with the seafood chowder contest last year that we've decided to do it again! We’re fortunate to live in one of the best locations for fresh seafood; why not make the most of it? For our vegan and vegetarian friends (and seafood haters), we’ve got you covered with a special vegan chowder option, so there’s no excuse not to join in on the fun!

Bring your best chowder or just bring your appetite. This event is open to everyone, and spectators will have the fun job of being the judges. We will take up to 20 contestants.

Event details:
When: April 12th at 12pm - until the chowder runs out
Where: Cove RV Park, in the pavilion
Chowder requirements: Chowder must have at least one type of seafood in it. Chowder will need to be prepared ahead of time and brought in a crockpot or similar container that keeps it heated.

To enter the contest, call us, send us a message on Facebook or come into the store and tell us in person. The top 3 winners will receive a trophy and bragging rights.
